Small Calabasas brush fire snuffed in a hurry

RESOURCE DEPLOYMENT— A heliciopter and firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department respond to a brush fire Aug. 29 at 26000 Alizia Canyon Drive in Calabasas. The blaze was started behind an apartment complex by a welder, the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department reported. The 6-acre fire took less than an hour to contain. There were no evacuations or damage to any structures, the report said.
