Simi auto show

The Ventura County Auto Show invites local auto clubs and car enthusiasts to Simi Valley for a celebration of car culture from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sat., May 26 at the Simi Valley Town Center, 1555 Simi Town Center Way.

Formerly called Autos Against Autism, the event will have attractions, music, RC drift racing and a parking lot full of classic and modified cars in a charity event that benefits Autism Speaks.

Owners of restored, custom and classic cars can arrive as early as 8 a.m. to find a spot.

The show will also have imports, exotic vehicles, classics, hot rods, motorcycles and off road vehicles.

Tickets are $25 at the door. Proceeds from the event will help educate and research the causes of autism as researchers work toward a cure for the disease.
