Silverado staffer named national Nurse of the Year





Silverado Senior Living recently announced that Marcia Kravetz, RN, director of health services at its Escondido community, was named the first national Nurse of the Year by the National Assisted Living Nurses of America at the organization’s annual conference in Las Vegas.

NALNA is a professional nursing organization that provides education and professional standards for the nurses in the assisted-living industry.

“Marcia loves being a nurse. It shows in her creativity with residents and how she inspires her team. Marcia has been with Silverado for nine years now. She is the best,” said Anne Ellett, vice president of health services.

Kravetz i s from Vancouver, BC, Canada, where she graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
