DIFFICULT ENVIRONMENT— Shoppers have at least two more months of barriers and construction equipment to put up with before the Westlake Plaza and Center starts to wrap up its remodeling job.
Although the heavy machinery, makeshift signs and torn-up asphalt at Westlake Plaza make it difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Regency Centers’ Patrick Conway said the shopping center’s much-criticized $25-million renovation effort is indeed approaching an end.
