A burglar stole a $ 300 jackhammer and caused $400 in damage shattering a window to get into a car parked on Lewis Road May 29.

Someone stole $600 worth of makeup and caused $200 in damage breaking into a vehicle parked on De Vore Court May 25.

A burglar took $100 worth of gifts and a garage door opener valued at $50 from a home on Michelle Drive May 25.

Someone stole a $50 pair of sunglasses and caused $200 in damage breaking into a car parked near Agoura High School in the 28500 block of Driver Avenue May 22.

A thief stole a $240 iPod, a $240 pair of sunglasses and a $12 garage opener from a car parked on Queens Way on May 22.

Someone stole a $100 wallet containing seven bank and gift cards from the shopping cart of a customer at Trader Joe’s on Canwood Street May 21.

A thief stole a br iefcase containing tax return documents, a passport, birth certificate, bank card and checkbook from an unlocked car parked near a home on Medeabrook Place May 18.

Someone reported that $5,500 worth of photographic equipment was stolen from a home on Old Mill Creek Lane in January. The victim blames his housekeeper.

Calabasas

A burglar stole two flat-screen TVs, a video camera, a cellphone and a laptop computer from an apartment on Lupine Lane March 31. The items were worth about $5,000.

A student at Calabasas High School reported on May 28 that someone stole her $3,000 laptop computer. She was sitting at an outdoor table near the gymnasium with a friend before class and had placed the laptop beside her. When she turned, equipment was gone.

A thief stole $465 in cash and caused $45 in damage to the door lock of a business in the 4700 block of Park Granada May 28.

Someone caused $ 35 in damage breaking into a vending machine and stole $100 worth of merchandise. The incident occurred at Calabasas High May 22. The coin box was undamaged.

A burglar stole $500 in cash and caused $500 in damage breaking into the register of a restaurant in the 23500 block of Calabasas Road May 21.

A thief stole an $800 iPhone from a car parked in the 23500 block of Calabasas Road May 21. The victim reported that she had left her vehicle with a valet when the incident occurred.

Someone caused $ 125 in damage trying to break into a house on Liberty Bell Road May 20.

Oak Park

A theft of property valued at more than $950 was reported in the 5500 block of Wembly Avenue.

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Skyridge Lane.

Westlake Village

A shoplifter stole two computers valued at $1,500 from Costco on Lindero Canyon Road. The thief left through a back door. An employee was alerted by the emergency door alarm and reported seeing the person as he jumped into a

blue Toyota and got away. The employee was able to get the license plate of the vehicle.

A thief took two Canadian passports valued at $300 from a guest room at the Four Seasons Hotel on Dole Drive May 21.

Someone stole a $250 aluminum wheel and a $100 tire from a vehicle parked near the Residence Inn in the 20950 block of Russell Ranch Road May 16.

A thief stole a $3,000 third-row seat from a vehicle parked near Oaks Christian School in the 31700 block of La Tienda Drive May 14.
