Agoura Hills

On Feb. 15 someone broke into a home on Lake Crest Drive by prying open a bedroom window. The thief stole a camera, lens, wallet, driver’s license and a pair of Apple AirPods. The stolen items were worth $1,715.

A burglar entered an unlocked home on Medeabrook Place on Feb. 14 The culprit took car keys that had been left on the kitchen counter, entered the garage, unlocked the vehicles and stole two pairs of prescription glasses, a mouthpiece, a martial arts gee, a 15-inch machete and a canvas bag. The stolen items were worth $895.

On Feb. 10 someone broke into two lockers at LA Fitness on Roadside Drive. The thief broke two $15 locks and stole a $700 iPhone from one locker and an $800 iPhone from the second.

A thief stole $950 in cash from a handbag at Homewood Suites on Canwood Street. The handbag had been left on the couch in a hotel room, to which the occupant had the only key.

Calabasas

Someone broke the sliding glass door of a home on Park Corona on Feb. 14, causing $500 in damage. The owner reported that nothing was taken, but the burglar left behind five $1 bills.

On Feb. 14 a thief stole a wallet out of a purse at Trader Joe’s on Calabasas Road. The purse had been left in a shopping cart. The wallet contained debit and credit cards. The stolen property was worth $45.

Someone entered an unlocked car parked on Las Virgenes Road on Feb. 11. The perpetrator ransacked the vehicle and caused $100 in damage to the trunk lever. The owner also found a Lakers jersey and a tool bag in the car that did not belong to them.

On Feb. 11 a thief entered an unlocked vehicle on Alizia Canyon Drive and stole a pair of prescription glasses and headphones. The items were worth $600.

Someone entered an unlocked car parked on Las Virgenes Road the night of Feb. 11. The culprit ransacked the vehicle and stole a $180 dress that had been left inside. The owner reported that a pair of rubber dishwashing gloves had been left behind.

Westlake Village

A thief entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Harbor View Lane on Feb. 14 and stole a backpack, tote bag and five books. The stolen items were worth $150.

On Feb. 11 someone stole a $2,000 laptop from Cadence Communications and Research on Agoura Road. The laptop had been left on a desk in the main office, which does not lock.

On Feb. 8 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked outside Costco on Lindero Canyon Road and stole a handicap placard and a blanket, all worth $20.
