Agoura Hills

On Feb. 11 a thief broke into a car parked outside the L.A. Fitness gym on Agoura Road, punctured the driver’s handle key lock and stole a purse. The purse contained a wallet, driver’s license, debit cards, cash and checks. The stolen items were worth $1,490.

Someone entered an unlocked car parked on Agoura Road the night of Feb. 6. The thief stole two wood clamps, a metal cat claw, a hammer and a set of 15 house keys the victim, a dog walker, used to access his clients’ homes. The stolen items were worth $60.

Between Feb. 4 and 9 someone ransacked a boat at the Mountain Lake clubhouse in Malibou Lake. The thief stole the boat’s motor, steering wheel column, batteries, and two chairs and a table that were on board. The stolen property was worth $8,650.

Calabasas

On Feb. 12 two people broke into the Postal Annex on Calabasas Road and stole multiple pieces of mail, the value of which is unknown.

A thief stole a wallet out of a purse in a shopping cart at Trader Joe’s on Calabasas Road. The wallet contained cash and various credit cards, all worth over $2,000. One of the stolen cards was later used to make two charges totaling over $5,200 at the Nordstrom store in Woodland Hills.

On Feb. 7 a man stole six bottles of perfume from the Sephora store at the Commons. The thief walked into the store, put the bottles into a grocery bag and walked out. The items were worth $984.

A burglar broke into a home on Park South on Feb. 5. The thief smashed a second-floor patio door, which was made of glass, causing $2,000 in damage. The criminal stole a briefcase containing confidential documents, three gold bracelets and three pairs of gold earrings. The stolen items were worth $9,500.

Hidden Hills

On Feb. 9 burglars broke into a home on Jim Bridger Road. The perpetrators broke a bedroom window to enter the house and smashed two other windows and two glass doors, causing $6,750 in damage. The owner reported that his 2009 and 2010 Lakers championship rings, worth a total of $40,000, were stolen.

Someone broke into a home on Hidden Ridge Road between Jan. 30 and Feb. 7. The culprit smashed a window in the master bedroom, causing $2,000 in damage. The home had been ransacked; the owner was unsure if anything had been taken.

Westlake Village

A man stole tax software, a wireless phone charger, a selfie stick, a wireless speaker and a tile tracker from the Target store on Russell Ranch Road on Feb. 10. The stolen items were worth $190.

On Jan. 29 someone vandalized a car parked on Russell Ranch Road. The vandal scratched the letters “DIK” into the driver’s door, causing $100 in damage.
