On the afternoon of June 7, someone broke into a car parked on Roadside Drive by smashing the rear passenger side window, causing $300 in damage. The thief stole a computer case containing a laptop and a Samsung tablet computer. The stolen property was worth over $1,000.

Someone stole the tailgate off a pickup truck that was parked on Hackers Lane between June 3 and 7. The tailgate was worth $1,074.

Gardening equipment was stolen from a house on Meadow Vista Way between June 2 and 7. The victim reported leaving a pole saw and a ladder, worth $300, on the property. He left the items in an area behind a vacant house he had been hired to clean up.

On June 6 someone broke into a car in the Commons parking lot by shattering the rear driver’s side window, causing $200 in damage. The thief stole a backpack containing an iPad and other electronic accessories worth over $1,100.

Someone broke into a car parked outside King’s Fish House in the Calabasas Commons on June 6 by smashing the rear passenger side window, causing $500 in damage. The thief stole a $1,100 laptop that was left in the back seat.

A car was broken into in the parking lot of Lovi’s Deli on May 24. The driver’s side window was smashed, causing $400 in damage. The thief stole a Louis Vuitton purse, an iPad, a laptop, cash and a watch, worth over $5,600.

A money scam was reported May 15 in the 100 block of N. Smoketree Avenue.

Westlake Village

A shoplifter stole two Google Home speakers from the Verizon store on Russell Ranch Road on June 9. The items were worth $200.

On June 6, a thief stole a wireless router, two baby monitors, a pair of cargo shorts and a shirt from the Target on Russell Ranch Road. The items were worth $800.

A burglar broke into Young’s Tailors and Cleaners on Lakeview Canyon Road the night of June 6 by smashing the front window, causing $1,000 in damage. The owner reported nothing missing.
