On Feb. 22 someone broke into a locked car parked on Kanan Road by smashing the rear and driver’s side back windows, causing $250 in damage. The thief stole jewelry, a backpack, an iPad, a Nikon camera and several purses. The stolen items were valued at more than $1,500.
A burglar broke into a home on Park Belmonte on Feb. 23. The culprit smashed a sliding glass door that led to the master bedroom, causing $ 200 in damage. Several rooms were ransacked but the owner wasn’t sure if anything was missing.
A thief stole an electric scooter and a collection of baseball cards, worth $1,500, from the garage of a home on Malaga Court on Feb. 21. The homeowner’s security cameras showed someone trying to enter a locked vehicle parked in the driveway then walking out of view toward the unlocked garage door. Several items in the garage had been moved. The home is in a gated community.
The night of Feb. 21 someone stole a drone, business checks and miscellaneous tools, worth $1,400, from a locked car parked on Earls Court. The drone was later found by a neighbor in her front yard.
Another car on Earl’s Court, this one unlocked, was robbed the night of Feb. 21. Eight bags of clothing and a pair of sunglasses were taken. The stolen property was worth $500. A thief stole a $200 briefcase
and $25 in cash from an unlocked car parked on Paseo Primaro the night of Feb. 20. The thief left behind an insurance card, a leather container and a salon invoice that were stolen from someone on the same block. That property was returned to the neighbor, and the victim’s briefcase was later found by another neighbor in a bush down the road.
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Lorenzo Court the night of Feb. 20 and took the $300 key remote to the owner’s other car.
On Feb. 19 a thief took a wallet containing a driver’s license, bank cards and $50 in cash from an unlocked car parked on Lorenzo Court. The cards were later used to make a $1,460 purchase from a Ralphs in Studio City.
A burglar broke into a home on Declaration Avenue between Feb. 15 and 20 by smashing a sliding glass door, causing $250 in damage. The thief stole several items from the master bedroom, including jewelry and two watches, worth over $11,000. A window in the bedroom was shattered, causing $500 in damage.
A thief stole $71 out of a woman’s purse on Feb. 9. The woman was an employee at the Starbucks on Agoura Road and left her purse in the break room during her shift. When she returned the money was missing.
On Feb. 22 someone broke into a van in the parking lot of the Lure Fish House restaurant. The thief smashed the front passenger window and the rear driver’s side window, causing $400 in damage, and stole a $1,000 laptop.
Someone stole $1,990 worth of property from an unlocked car in the parking lot of the Stonehaus restaurant on Feb. 19. The thief stole two snowboards, a pair of snowboard boots, bindings, a backpack and miscellaneous snowboarding gear.
