Someone broke into a car parked on Las Virgenes Road the night of Feb. 11, smashing the rear passenger window and stealing a basket containing beauty products, a stuffed animal and cooking spices. The stolen items were worth $190. The thief caused $1,000 in damage.

A thief broke into a car on Park Este the night of Feb. 10 and stole three backpacks containing a laptop, credit cards and a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver. The culprit also took cash that had been left in the vehicle’s glove compartment. The stolen property was worth over $3,700. The thief caused $400 in damage to the vehicle by punching in the door lock.

On Feb. 10 someone broke into Sushi Nishi on Agoura Road by breaking a window, causing $500 in damage. The thief stole a cash register containing cash and food vouchers. The stolen property was worth $400.

Someone stole a GPS and a set of golf clubs from a locked car parked on De Kalb Drive the night of Feb. 10. The stolen items were worth over $2,800.

Westlake Village

On Feb. 13 a thief stole a $1,600 purse from the TJ Maxx on Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Three men broke into a home on Kirsten Lee Drive on Feb. 12. The owner was home and said she heard someone breaking into the house. When she went to investigate she saw three men in dark clothes and hoodies walking up the stairs. She ran back to her room to protect her baby and call 911. She did not see the men leave but reported that they took a $1,400 purse that was on her counter. They entered the home by smashing the rear sliding door, causing $2,500 in damage.

A thief smashed the front passenger window of a car parked on Catarina Drive Feb. 10, causing $500 in damage, and stole a $25 diaper bag that had been left on the passenger seat.

A $200 briefcase was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Hedgewall Drive the night of Feb. 10.

A home on Canterhill Place was burglarized Feb. 9. The thief smashed a glass panel in a bathroom door but was unable to enter through that door because it was locked with a deadbolt. Then they smashed a rear sliding door and stole a $200 digital turntable from the living room. The thief caused $600 in damage to the home.

On Feb. 9 someone stole a woman’s purse from the Costco store on Lindero Canyon Road. The purse contained a cellphone. The stolen property was worth $140.

A thief stole a catalytic converter worth $100 from a car parked on Agoura Road on Feb. 8.
