A thief stole a $2,000 laptop computer, a $140 charger and a $100 physics textbook from a car parked on Thousand Oaks Boulevard May 9.

A resident on Lake Lindero Drive reported May 5 that someone smashed a $700 sliding glass door to get into his home. The victim was not sure what items were stolen when the report was filed.

Calabasas

A thief stole a $1,000 Gucci purse containing a $200 wallet with a driver’s license and bank cards as well as $200 in cash from a car parked in the 26400 block of Malibu Hills Road May 8. The burglar shattered a $200 window to get into the locked vehicle.

A burglar stole a $700 safe containing a $7,000 necklace and a U.S. passport from a home on Oak Glen Street May 3.

Westlake Village

A man and a woman stole more than $1,000 worth of electronic merchandise from the Target store in the 30700 block of Russell Ranch Road May 3. The culprits used a back door to leave the premise with the goods.

A $2,800 Gibson Songbird guitar was stolen from the Guitar Center store on Russell Ranch Road April 28.

A burglar stole $1,500 worth of scuba gear, as well as $900 worth of golfing and snowboarding gear from a storage unit in the 5700 block of Corsa Avenue. The incident occurred within the past month.
