Seeing stars



The National Park Service will co-host the third annual Summer Star Festival from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Sat., Aug. 8 at Paramount Ranch, 2903 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills.
Attendees of the festival can view the night sky away from urban light pollution.
The free event will begin with astronomy-themed music, followed by an introductory lecture and constellation tour by Hal Jandorf, astronomy professor at Moorpark College.
The festival will offer kids’ activities as well as a chance to view planets...
