Sherman recently led members of Boy Scout Troop No. 127 to restore a 200-foot section of the former Paramount Ranch Raceway. More than 30 Scouts logged in excess of 200 hours, clearing weeds to expose the original banked hairpin curve near the rear of the Western town at Paramount Ranch. The project was made available by Mike Malone of the National Park Service.
