Schools score big when sports are allowed to return

If you run into a high school athletic director in Acorn country, chances are you’ll find them on the phone. The past few weeks have seen a flurry of communications from state health officials to CIF to school districts to sports programs to coaches to parents. And in the midst of all the conference calls and Zoom meetings are the men and women responsible for putting high school kids onto the field.
Onto the field safely, that is.
