School district’s parcel tax request may be postponed to March ballot

Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) would like to bring a multi-million dollar parcel tax before the voters this fall or next spring—the exact date still undecided.
Facing a $1.3 million budget shortfall and $470,000 in possible additional cutbacks later this year, the school district is hoping voters will support a tax on property that would raise $3 million a year for four years.
