Agoura Hills officials have released a list of the top sales-tax producing businesses in the city. As expected, hardware, furniture and groceries are among the leading big ticket items.
"We take a look at (the store) numbers on a regular basis," said Dave Adams, city manager. "If they do well, we do well."
The city receives 1 percent of the 8.25 percent tax levied on Los Angeles county retail sales.
