Supervisors call for study to find alternatives to poison

Environmental awareness is growing, and many people are pushing for their local governments to take steps to update their policies regarding poisons—pesticides and herbicides.

At a recent meeting of the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council, Oak Park resident Linda Seidman urged council members to follow the Ventura County Board of Supervisors and explore alternatives to glyphosate, the main ingredient in the herbicide Roundup.
