The Westlake Village Rotary Club held its annual Day of Giving program at the club’s September meeting.

At the annual event, Rotary donates to local nonprofit organizations proceeds received from the club’s two fundraisers, the Westlake Village Community Street Festival and Oak Heart Country Musical Festival, as well as funds contributed by event sponsors.

This year the club donated a total of $65,000 to 28 local organizations that in turn use the funds to provide services to residents of the Conejo Valley.

This year’s recipients are: American Cancer Society, Barbells for Boobs, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Conejo Valley, Camarillo High School Business Technology Center, Cancer Support Community, Commemorative Air Force,

Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club, Disaster Communications Service, KCLU public radio, Rolling Thunder Charities, Play Conejo, Safe Passages, Jessie Hopkins Hinchee Foundation, T & L Foundation for Child Care Services, Westlake Village YMCA,
