Rosenthal steps down as Agoura swim coach

Jason Rosenthal, a longtime teacher and coach at Agoura High, has stepped down as girls’ and boys’ swim head coach.

“The timing was right,” Rosenthal said in an interview with The Acorn. “It’s the best thing for the kids and program, and myself as well.”

Rosenthal will remain head coach of the Charger girls’ water polo team.

He has coached swimming and water polo at Agoura for 27 years. The only girls’ water polo coach in program history, Rosenthal completed his 20th season leading the squad. The girls’ water polo team has won a CIF-Southern Section record 134 consecutive league games.
