Robots come alive




EARTH DAY THINKERS—The kids in Cheri Mahlknecht’s kindergarten class at Lupin Hill Elementary School are eager to talk about their recycled robot projects during class on April 5. In preparation for Earth Day on April 22, the students have been building robots out of recycled materials. With glue gun help from an adult, each student made their own robot starting with a coffee container cylinder.

GREAT NAMES— With names like Rodo, Rock Star, Kiki, Princess Heart Sparkle, A.O. and Cuttie, it’s not difficult to love these fine looking robots. All the robots are on display in the classroom at Lupin Hill Elementary, 26210 Adamor Road, Calabasas.
