Restaurants join cancer fight

A percent of proceeds from day's receipts to supporAmerican Cancer Society



The Alamo Bar & Grill restaurant will join Team Agoura Hills to raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life walkathon April 28 and 29 at Willow Elementary School.

The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the day’s proceeds to help in the fight against cancer.

The Agoura Hills city team is one of more than 50 whose members will take turns on the track in the 24-hour walk to raise funds and awareness.

At 7 a.m. on Sun., April 29, Relay For Life will host a pancake breakfast at the elementary school site. The breakfast is sponsored by the Woodland Hills Kiwanis.

After the event is over, on May 1, the Agoura Hills Maria’s Italian Kitchen restaurant will donate 15 percent of their day’s receipts to the charity.
