Residents post scholastic achievements





Joseph La Rocque, a senior majoring in pre-communication, was named to the Scholastic Honor Roll for the winter term at Oregon State University. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work. La Rocque had a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Meghan Dana Joss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Joss of Agoura Hills, has earned honor roll status for the winter term at Washington

and Lee University in Lexington, Va., where she is a junior. Honor roll status is bestowed on students posting a grade point average of at least 3.75.

Jennifer Breger of Calabasas, a student in the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall quarter of the 200506 academic year. To make the dean’s list students must have attained a grade point average of at least 3.75.

Jessica Penn of Oak Park has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2006 winter term at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., where she is pursuing an associate’s degree in equine studies. To receive this commendation, students must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
