Remembering loved ones


Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks- Griffin Memorial Park and Temple Adat Elohim will host a Kever Avot service at 11:30 a.m. Sun., Sept. 16 at the memorial park, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The service, which is free and open to the community, will be held in the Beth Olam garden.

Kever Avot is the tradition of visiting the graves of parents and loved ones between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Rabbi Barry Diamond of Temple Adat Elohim will participate in the service. Cantor David Shukiar of TAE will provide music.
