STRUGGLE FOR EQUALITY––Rachael Kane, an eighth grade student at Lindero Canyon Middle School in Agoura Hills, portrays a suffragette to a panel of judges at last week’s 12th annual History Day. Rachael, 13-years-old, wrote and presented her interpretation of, "A Suffragette’s Struggle and Right To Vote." This year’s theme for the project was "Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas." Students prepared about 400 exhibits and research papers that were judged by Las Virgenes Unified School District administrators and teachers from other school districts.
