Reception for new book about Agoura Hills




The Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council will present a reception and signing for “Images of America: Agoura Hills” at 6:30 p.m. Wed., June 19 at Agoura Hills Library, 29901 Ladyface Court.

The book is a pictorial history of the city by journalist and resident Susan Pascal, with a forward by state Sen.r Fran Pavley. Published by Arcadia Publishing, the book will be released on June 17.

The reception will also feature a slide show presentation of pictures from the book followed by a fireside community discussion with librarian Nina Hull and a Q&A with Pascal.

The book will be available for 20 percent off the retail price, with proceeds benefitting the cultural arts program in Agoura Hills. Refreshments will be served at this free event.
