Realtors promote scholarships

GROOVY, BABY—”Austin Powers” (entertainer Mark Wilde) cozies up to Jessica Riendeau and Niki Curtis at the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors Public Benefit Foundation fundraiser. The event brought in $4,700 for scholarships to help college-bound high school graduates.


The Conejo Valley Association of Realtors recently hosted a fundraiser at the Mandevilla Restaurant in Westlake Village to help raise funds for the Public Benefit Foundation, which annually awards scholarships to local college-bound high school graduates.

The festivities raised $4,700 for the foundation.

The event was hosted jointly by the association’s Membership Events Committee and Affiliates Committee.

The evening’s entertainment featured a live DJ, karaoke, and an Austin Powers look-alike.

The raffle included such prizes as Lakers tickets to the first game of the finals, Clipper tickets, a staging consultation, and gift certificates to local retailers and restaurants.
