Rare ducks pay visit to Oak Park

 SWIMMING ALONG—Oak Park resident Maju Venkat, a biologist with the County of Ventura, captures shots of two duck species at the Oak Park Community Park pond. One is a female wood duck, above, and the other a red headed male duck, right, both rare in Ventura County. Venkat said, “It is important for the community to recognize what a jewel the park is. It would be nice for Rancho Simi to consider restoration of the park but sadly, funds are limited.”  ...
