Rabbi to teach Bible study





The Conejo Jewish Academy sponsors a Wednesday afternoon study group from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

The group will study “The 13 Attributes of Mercy” beginning Oct. 25. There is no fee to attend and a dairy lunch will follow the class.

Rabbi Moshe D. Bryski, executive director of Chabad of the Conejo, is the instructor.

With this class, Bryski will begin his 14th year of teaching the Bible. The class studies Torah (Bible) verse by verse and discusses the literal meaning as well as the moral lessons and implication for our day and age. Bryski has compiled more than 4,500 pages of notes and commentaries while researching the Torah.

The study group has received accreditation by the Bureau of Jewish Education.
