The City of Angels Saxophone Quartet will give a performance of classical music at 2 p.m. Sat., Sept. 16 at the the Agoura Hills Library, 29901 Ladyface Court.
The ensemble won top honors at the Coleman and Carmel chamber music competitions.
The group has toured USSR and the United States.
During the concert, the musicians will provide commentary.
The quartet will perform works by J.S. Bach, Paul Jeanjean, Scott Joplin, Fritz Kreisler, Ennio Morricone and Bernstein.
The program is funded by Supervisor Sheila Kuehl through a grant from the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the Friends of the Agoura Hills Library.
Refreshments will be served after the concert with an opportunity to speak with the musicians.
The program is intended for adults and teens age 12 and up.
