The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and the City of Calabasas will again host the Pumpkin Festival Kick-Off Mixer by raising the festival mascot, Punky, to the rooftop of Acura 101 West from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 19 at 24650 Calabasas Road, Calabasas.
The event, which is open to businesses and community, will feature food vendors, entertainment, a raffle for free entry to the festival, children’s activities, derby car building, face painting and balloon creations.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Oct. 19 and 20 at Juan Bautista de Anza Park in Calabasas.
New to the festival this year will be a Tiny Tots Costume Parade, with free admission for children ages 6 and under who arrive in full costume between 10 and 11 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 19. The costumed kids can join a musical parade around de Anza Park starting at 11 a.m..
The parade will end at the main stage where the mayor of Calabasas and City Council members will be awarding prizes.
