Courtesy of National Park ServiceThe Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area announced Tuesday morning that biologists have seen a litter of four mountain lion kittens in the Simi Hills.
The kittens were born to P-62 whom researchers have been tracking since January. The four kittens, all females, are now known as P-66, P-67, P-68 and P-69 (the P stands for puma).
A statement from the park service said biologists visited the den on June 11 while P-62 was away.
