Private road causes public concern in Agoura Hills

Agoura Hills officials have ordered Dean Rasmussen, one of the city’s largest landowners, to stop building an unauthorized road that cuts through his property near Old Agoura.
The city’s planning department learned that Rasmussen had begun grading a road apparently to connect his home (off Bamfield Drive in the Fountainwood area) to Easterly Road, just north of Agoura High School.
Rasmussen lives at 28611 Bamfield Drive.
