Principals vote to split Marmonte football teams into 2 divisions



The Marmonte League football upheaval continues.
Principals from the 10 Marmonte high schools voted 6-4 in favor of splitting the league into two football-only divisions for the 2012 season.
According to the Tuesday morning vote, the Western Division will contain Oaks Christian, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Agoura and Calabasas.
The Eastern Division will comprise Westlake, Newbury Park, Royal, Simi Valley and St. Bonaventure.
