Power outage sparks anger

From 6 p.m. Aug. 21 to 3:50 a.m. Aug. 22, the east side of Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas went dark.
When we have a power outage during a storm or some other natural disaster, it is understandable that we will have to put up with discomfort and use our emergency preparedness gear.
However, when Southern California Edison planned to replace the old power poles on Las Virgenes Road, it should not have created a crisis situation for the residents, who had no idea what SCE had planned.
