The estranged wife of actor and comedian Rob Riggle is in hot water for allegedly placing a recording device in her husband’s Westlake home without his knowledge.

Tiffany Krug Riggle, 50, was arrested April 5 by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of burglary, unauthorized computer access (hacking), and eavesdropping on confidential communications, police said.

She hid the recording device in Riggle’s home office, according to the arrest report.

A sheriff ’s department spokesperson said Tiffany Riggle entered the property after she no longer had standing as a resident.

VCSO officials declined to give further details, citing an ongoing investigation.

Riggle’s arrest is the latest escalation in the high-profile couple’s contentious split.

Rob Riggle, who is known for roles on such shows as “Modern Family,” “Saturday Night Live,” “The Daily Show” and FOX’s “NFL Sunday” pregame show, as well as movies like “The Hangover,” “Talle- dega Nights” and “The Lorax,” filed a lawsuit against his wife this winter, accusing her of planting a hidden camera in a smoke detector to spy on him at home.

At the time, the couple was staying in separate homes while taking turns staying with their children in the family home, according to reports. The Marine Corps veteran claimed his estranged wife also hacked into his Apple account and downloaded his texts, emails, photos, and contacts.

Rob Riggle has been granted a temporary restraining order against Tiffany, an interior designer, and is seeking a permanent protective order, court records show.

The couple filed for divorce in October 2020 after 21 years of marriage. They have two teenage children.

Tiffany Riggle is free on $50,000 bail. She is due to appear in court April 20.
