Police investigating death of Oak Park college student

Police are investigating the death of Joseph Michael Bock, an Oak Park resident and college student whose body was found at 2 p.m. March 21 in his college apartment at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz.

His body reportedly was found underneath a  bed, but law enforcement hasn’t given a cause of death.

The Coconino County Medical Examiner’s office is investigating the case along with the Flagstaff Police Department and NAU police.

Bock lived in the Hilltop Townhomes in Flagstaff, not affiliated with NAU but close to the campus.

Known as “Joey,” Bock went to St. Jude the Apostle School in Westlake Village and Oak Park High School, where he played football.

A funeral service for Bock will be at 10 a.m. Sat., April 14 at St. Jude. A reception will follow in the church hall.
