UP AND AWAY—Ally-over by four AT-6 Texan aircraft of the Condor Squadron receives an enthusiastic response during the 22nd annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village last Monday. The Van Nuys-based squadron is known to aviation fans around for its dramatic flights in the restored vintage WWII aircraft.

Gentry Sr. and Berle Spurlock of Thousand Oaks salute as the Navy song “Anchors Away” is played at the Pierce Brothers Memorial Day service on May 28.
