A bill to help low-income senior and disabled homeowners keep their homes recently passed the state Assembly Revenue and Taxation Committee.
AB-1886, authored by state Assemblywoman Fran Pavley (D-Woodland Hills) would allow low-income seniors and residents with disabilities to defer property taxes, special assessments, fees and other charges due on a home.
