Topanga State Park is seeking volunteer naturalists. Docents fall training will begin Sat., Sept. 21 at the Trippet Ranch Nature Center in Topanga State Park.
Classes will take place on six alternating Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The program will teach participants about plant and animal identification, the Tongva and Chumash and their ancestors, archaeology in the park, and the significance of the park’s climate, ecology and geology.
