Overpass key to lions’ survival

In the June 10 Acorn, Richard Robinson asked the question, “Does anyone know if the mountain lions will actually use the $90-million overpass?” Clearly, Mr. Robinson has not done much research as to why the mountain lions most certainly will do so.

First of all, 23 mountain lions have been killed by vehicles since 2002 while trying to cross L.A. freeways, and a few have actually made it across.
