The Tapia sewer plant does a great job of separating the solids from the water, but the water is nowhere close to drinking water standards.
There are more pharmacies in the area than gas stations, and every day they dispense thousand of prescriptions that eventually wind up in the waste stream.
I do not want to drink recycled water that has the remnants of thousands of prescription dissolved in it. Take them out, why sure, at what fantastic cost?
