‘Options for Care’ seminar set for Saturday




Skilled care vs. custodial care? Medicare and medical insurance—what do they pay for? Assisted care facilities—what are they and where are they located? Is long-term-care insurance something to consider?


To answer these and other questions, the Ventura County Homecare Association, a nonprofit organization, will present an educational seminar titled "Options for Care When a Family Member Becomes Ill" from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sat., June 1, at Los Robles Regional Medical Center’s East Campus, 150 Via Merida, Westlake Village.


A continental breakfast is included. Participants can take an optional tour of the Los Robles Regional Medical Center facilities at East Campus between noon and 2 p.m. with lunch also included.
