Last year on the Fourth of July, residents of rural Agoura living along Mulholland Highway panicked when celebrants at a large backyard holiday gathering unleashed a booming barrage of fireworks at 8:30 p.m.
This year, the hope is that people will truly think before they act in an unlawful and irresponsible manner. The recent Calabasas wildfire—sparked by a toppled power pole—was a terrifying reminder of how fire-prone a world many of us live in.
