Odoriferous flower discovered



 
Staff at the Soka University of America campus in Calabasas recently discovered an unusual purplish-red spathe and foul-smelling flower that mimics the rare titan arum—a flower that smells like rotting flesh—in the campus’ John and Juliana Gensley Native Garden.
