One of the biggest fears in education is the classroom that becomes crowded due to a lack of teachers and funds.
Nobody likes crowded schools—students get less attention and education suffers—but empty classrooms aren’t popular either. Campuses that must close their doors due to declining enrollment and other factors give school districts a black eye. At Simi Valley Unified, for example, a districtwide student exodus is underway and the residents aren’t happy.
