2015 Year in Review


When the New Year arrives, Oak Park will celebrate its 50th year in existence. The first housing developments came to the unincorporated eastern Ventura County community in 1966.
Among the events of the past year, Chris Chapman joined the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council to fill a seat that was vacated by former Councilmember Mike Green. And the community lost its only supermarket when the Fresh & Easy store on Lindero Canyon Road closed. The space occupied by the market is still vacant....
