Oak Park High School announced new costcutting measures that will help the school fight the rough economic downturn.
The high school's new conservative approach to spending has begun immediately.
"We need to come together as a school to save our pennies," Principal Andi Mallen said. "It's going to be hard for all of us. We've all enjoyed a few decades of the good life here. We're going to be a lot more conservative about what we do."
