Several Oak Park High School students, including athletes and at least one cheerleader, celebrated Adolf Hitler’s April 20 birthday with a flurry of anti-Semitic and racist tweets that incited fear in the community.
One racist tweet was made against a Chinese employee at a local donut shop.
Parents and students erupted in anger over the incident and contacted Oak Park Unified School District Superintendent Tony Knight to investigate the social media outburst.
