East County lovebirds will no longer have to take wing to Ventura if they want to obtain a marriage license.
Beginning in January, the county clerk’s office will have a representative at Thousand Oaks City Hall twice week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., who will issue marriage licenses by appointment and provide copies of vital records.
Real property recordings and fictitious business name statement filings can also be completed at the office.
