The Agoura Hills library presents the following activities for the coming weeks. Agoura Hills Library is a branch of the Los Angeles County Public Library at 29901 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.

•Winter story time for children includes stories, music and crafts and is on Tuesdays for preschoolers ages 3 to 5, and Wednesdays for toddlers ages 1 to 3 from Jan. 9 to March 28. Story times are 11 a.m. both days.

•L.E. Indianer will talk about and autograph his book, “A Bridge to Elne,” on Mon., Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m. His novel describes the French resistance to the Nazi occupation. •The library proctors dis

tancelearning students for examinations. The cost per session is $25. This service enables residents to take proctored examinations for school, licensure and other requirements. Call the library for details and to schedule a proctor.

•The Book Cellar will reopen on Sat., Jan. 6 and will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Books for children and adults, audio books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, magazines and other items are sold in the store. Donations include recent publications and best sellers. Paperback books start at 50 cents and hardcover books are $1.

The Friends of the Agoura Hills Library accepts donations. Items sold in the store support the library.
